2025/26 Influenza Vaccination Service

The Yau Tsim Mong District Health Centre currently offers two influenza vaccination services: the Government Vaccination Programme (GVP) 2025/26 and the 2025/26 Vaccination Subsidy Scheme. Eligible individuals can receive the influenza vaccine free of charge. Members of the public are advised to choose the appropriate vaccination service based on their personal eligibility and health condition. For more details, please refer to the information provided below.

(Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability.)


Government Vaccination Programme (GVP) 2025/26

The following are eligible members for the Government Vaccination Programme (GVP) 2025/26:(**Non-members can register for membership on the spot. Please allow at least 15 minutes for the registration process.)

  1. Aged 50 years or above (count by year of birth)
  2. Aged 18 to 49 years with chronic illness¹ (count by year of birth)
  3. Eligible persons aged 18 to 49 years with intellectual or physical disability² (count by year of birth) (Please bring along relevant medical proof if you have)
  4. RCHE/RCHD/RCCC staff
  5. Poultry workers, pig farmers and pig-slaughtering industry personnel (Eligible persons are required to present a stamped referral letter issued by the relevant Government department (e.g., Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department or Food and Environmental Hygiene Department) upon vaccination.)
  6. DHCs/DHCEs staff

Vaccination Locations (*Information is subject to the appointment system):
Yau Tsim Mong District Health Centre Core Centre (1047 Canton Road, Mong Kok, Kowloon) or
Yau Tsim Mong District Health Centre Satellite Centre 1 (Units 1216-1219, 12/F, Pioneer Centre, 750 Nathan Road, Prince Edward, Kowloon)

Please note: Participants are required to bring their original Hong Kong Identity Card on the day of vaccination.
*Participants must meet at least one of the above eligibility criteria and have their eligibility assessed and confirmed by our staff before joining the Government Vaccination Programme (GVP) 2025/26. Otherwise, they will be referred to the 2025/26 Vaccination Subsidy Scheme and may not receive the vaccination on the same day.

2025/26 Vaccination Subsidy Scheme

The following are eligible members for the 2025/26 Vaccination Subsidy Scheme:(**Non-members can register for membership on the spot.)

  1. Aged 50 years or above (count by year of birth)
  2. Aged 18 to 49 years with chronic illness¹ (count by year of birth)
  3. Eligible persons aged 18 to 49 years with intellectual or physical disability² (count by year of birth) (Please bring along relevant medical proof if you have)
  4. RCHE/RCHD/RCCC staff
  5. Poultry workers, pig farmers and pig-slaughtering industry personnel (Eligible persons are required to present a stamped referral letter issued by the relevant Government department (e.g., Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department or Food and Environmental Hygiene Department) upon vaccination.)
  6. DHCs/DHCEs staff
  7. Children and adolescents aged 6 months to under 18 years (count by year of birth)

Vaccination Locations (*Information is subject to the appointment system):
Yau Tsim Mong District Health Centre Core Centre (1047 Canton Road, Mong Kok, Kowloon)

Please note: Participants are required to bring their original Hong Kong Identity Card on the day of vaccination.
*If the above eligibility criteria are not met, a fee of HKD 100 will be charged for influenza vaccination.

Chronic illnesses¹ include:
– Chronic cardiovascular disease (including chronic cardiovascular disease (except hypertension without complications), lung disease, liver disease or kidney disease)
– Metabolic disorders (including diabetes or obesity (body mass index 30 or above));
– Immunocompromised states (due to conditions such as asplenia, HIV/AIDS, cancer, or treatment with corticosteroids/immunosuppressants); and
– Chronic neurological conditions that impair respiratory function, difficulty in clearing respiratory secretions, increase the risk of aspiration, or result in lack of self-care ability.

Eligible persons with intellectual or physical disability² include those holding:
*Required supporting documents for eligible persons when receiving seasonal influenza vaccination:*
(1) Persons with intellectual disability:
– Holder of a Registration Card for People with Disabilities issued by the Labour and Welfare Bureau (Central Registry for Rehabilitation) indicating “Intellectual Disability” or “Mental Handicap”; or
– Persons identified as having intellectual disability in the Hospital Authority’s clinical record system, or identified as such following individual assessment by a doctor according to the circumstances.
(2) Recipients of Disability Allowance:
– The Disability Allowance approval letter issued by the Social Welfare Department to the allowance recipient or his/her parent/guardian (only applicable if vaccination is received within the approved allowance payment period).
(3) Persons aged 18 to 49 receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) under the standard rate category of “100% disability” or “requiring constant attendance”:
– As the certificate held by CSSA recipients may not show that they are currently receiving the standard rate under the “100% disability” or “requiring constant attendance” category, recipients aged 18 to 49 may need to undergo a clinical assessment by healthcare personnel; or, in some circumstances, sign a declaration form at a Department of Health clinic to confirm that they are receiving that standard rate category.

*The Government Vaccination Programme 2025/26 and the 2025/26 Vaccination Subsidy Schemewill not provide the nasal spray inactivated influenza vaccine.
